The Trinity Broads are a small group of five Broads which are not connected to the main Broads network. This means that the broads cannot be reached without the assistance of road travel, however, there are boat rental facilities at Filby Broad, so you can rent a boat for the day and explore these unique, unspoilt waterways.
Though in the past it was possible to sail between the main Broads network and the Trinity Broads via a cutting and lock, this has been deliberately closed in order to transform the Trinity Broads into a secluded environment for plants, animals and insects.
The Trinity Broads consist of Rollesby Broad, Ormesby Broad, Filby Broad, Lily Broad and Ormesby Little Broad. Filby Broad has the best facilities, including a waterside coffee shop, and is a great base for exploring this secluded corner of Norfolk.
